Rye Festival Of The Sea is a family fun day organised and ran by volunteers in Rye.
Proud to be a Cinque Port Town, we welcome locals and visitors from all over to join us in celebrating!
This year, our festival is set to be a fun filled action pack day.
With the return of our Raft Race, visitors can watch participants take a splash, as teams race for their chance to be crowned best raft of 2018!
We also have a market full of locals and new businesses, coming to live to offer even more entertainment. With charity stalls, food and drink and so much more!
There's even more with the return of our legendary tug of war, offering friendly competition and a chance to get a little muddy.
Why let all the adults have the fun? This year, deputy town crier, Paul Goring will be telling salty sea stories of Rye resident Captain Pugwash in the Rye Heritage Centre at 1:30 and 2:30. A chance for the younger maritime fans to get involved!
We can't wait to see you there!
